Agli inizi del mese OnePlus India aveva pubblicato per sbaglio un teaser riguardante una prossima partnership con Marvel Studios, suggerendo che probabilmente avremmo visto un OnePlus 6 a tema Avengers. Ebbene adesso è ufficiale.
OnePlus lo ha appena confermato in una nota, in cui si parla della partnership con Marvel Studios finalizzata proprio all’introduzione di una versione del nuovo OnePlus 6 basata sul prossimo film Avengers: Infinity War. OnePlus dice che la partnership è nata anche allo scopo di celebrare il decimo anniversario di Marvel Studios e che questa collaborazione “marks a step towards strengthening our association with Disney India”, ponendosi sulla scia dell’edizione a tema Star Wars del OnePlus 5T.
A quanto pare, comunque, questa edizione limitata a tema Avengers di OnePlus 6, che dovrebbe avere un prezzo pari a 5.000 Yuan (circa 643 euro), sarà un’esclusiva del mercato indiano, proprio come accaduto lo scorso anno. Secondo alcuni potrebbe arrivare anche nel Regno Unito, ma sembra improbabile: il mercato in cui OnePlus riscuote il maggior successo è proprio quello indiano, seguito da quello cinese. Inoltre l’India è una scelta strategica anche in quanto importante fanbase Marvel: il lancio del OnePlus 6 a tema Avengers in quel mercato è praticamente un successo annunciato.
