La One UI 8.5 beta sta arrivando su altri dispositivi della gamma Samsung Galaxy: a distanza di pochi giorni dall’avvistamento delle prime build, in queste ore Samsung ha avviato la distribuzione del primo firmware beta per Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24 FE e Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, ma lo stesso dovrebbe avvenire a momenti per Galaxy Z Fold6 e Galaxy Z Flip6. Scopriamo insieme quali sono le novità per questi modelli, mentre spunta una nuova beta (l’ultima?) per la serie Galaxy S25 (che riguarda anche Galaxy S25 FE).

La One UI 8.5 beta sbarca sui Samsung Galaxy S24 e si prepara per Galaxy Z Fold6: tutte le novità
La One UI 8.5 stabile è per il momento disponibile solo sugli ultimi arrivati, Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ e Galaxy S26 Ultra, ma dovrebbe arrivare nei prossimi giorni sulla serie Galaxy S25: quest’ultima sta testando la beta ormai da diverse settimane, e dovremmo ormai essere giunti alla fase finale. Mentre i test per i Galaxy S25 sembrano vicini al termine, Samsung sta iniziando a lanciare la One UI 8.5 beta su altri dispositivi: si tratta di Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Fold6 e Galaxy Z Flip6 (anche se quest’ultimo per ora non viene citato esplicitamente nei changelog).
Come riportato dal solito ben informato Tarun Vats, il programma beta della One UI 8.5 è ora disponibile per la serie Samsung Galaxy S24 in Corea del Sud, India e Regno Unito (solo i primi due Paesi per S24 FE, per ora): i primi firmware sono S92*BXXU5ZZCD e S721BXXUAZZCD e richiedono ovviamente un download molto corposo (si arriva quasi a 4,5 GB su Galaxy S24 Ultra). La stessa fonte suggerisce un rilascio imminente anche per Galaxy Z Fold6, con firmware F956BXXU3ZZCD (molto probabilmente affiancato dal corrispondente per Galaxy Z Flip6).
Visto che anche in questi casi il programma beta non è ufficialmente disponibile in Italia, sempre grazie a Vats possiamo mettere gli occhi sui changelog ufficiali dell’aggiornamento, che risultano identici tra Galaxy S24 e Galaxy Z Fold6. All’interno vengono citate novità per Galaxy AI (con cambiamenti e miglioramenti per Assistente foto e le funzionalità di editing), il rinnovato assistente Bixby, le maggiori possibilità di personalizzazione (per la schermata di blocco e non solo), le novità per il widget dedicato al Meteo, per Samsung Health (con migliori funzioni di condivisione e non solo), il rinnovamento per la schermata delle impostazioni dedicate alla batteria e tanto altro.

Automatic Lock screen layout
Wallpapers with pictures of people or pets now fit perfectly every time. When you choose a photo for your Lock screen, the layout adjusts automatically so the clock and widgets don’t cover important parts of the picture.
More customizable clock fonts
Personalize your Lock screen clock. You can now adjust the thickness of more font styles to match your preferred look.

Enhanced weather widget
Quickly check upcoming precipitation in the Weather widget on your Home screen. The widget now shows a graph if precipitation is expected in the next few hours.

Turn off Auto blocker temporarily
If you need to temporarily disable Auto blocker’s security protection, a new option lets you turn it on automatically 30 minutes later so you don’t forget.

Revamped battery info
See your battery use more clearly. The redesigned Battery settings screen makes it easier to check remaining time, charging status, and daily usage over the past week.
Improved Power saving
Use Power saving to make your battery last longer without charging. Choose Standard for moderate savings and customizable limits, or choose Maximum to turn off all non-essential features and make your battery last as long as possible.
Accessibility
Easily control Bluetooth hearing aids
Access settings for your Bluetooth hearing aids directly from the Accessibility shortcut. A pop-up will appear that lets you change your hearing program, turn Ambient sound on or off, and more.
Control magnification with mouse or keyboard
Keep what you need magnified in view with these new options. You can make the magnified area follow the cursor as you type or move when you change focus using the keyboard. When using a mouse, you can make the magnified area shift as you move the pointer to the edge of the screen.
Dwell action and Corner actions
The Auto action after pointer stops feature has been divided into 2 features. Dwell action lets you set custom actions when your mouse stops moving for a certain amount of time. Corner actions let you set a different action for each corner of the screen.

Can’t answer right now? Let callers record a voice message directly on your phone that you can listen to later. The message will appear on your screen as it’s being recorded so you can answer at any time.

Arrange your quick settings just the way you like them. You can now add, remove, reorder, and reorganize controls in the quick panel.
Early alerts for reminders
Get alerts before reminders are due to make sure you don’t forget important tasks. You can choose how far in advance to get an alert for each reminder.

Include only what you need in your screen recordings. You can now select only the part of the screen that you want to record.
Calculator nudges
Save time on calculations. Numbers and formulas copied to your clipboard will be suggested when you open Calculator so you can enter them with a quick tap.
Keep window sizes in DeX
DeX now remembers your app window sizes and positions. When you open an app again, it appears just as you left it.
Per scoprire effettivamente quante delle novità che abbiamo visto sulla serie Galaxy S26 (e in parte Galaxy S25) sono state integrate anche sulla serie Galaxy S24 e su Galaxy Z Fold6 (e quindi su Z Flip6) dovremo attendere maggiori dettagli. Confidiamo che per questi modelli il programma beta della One UI 8.5 sia più breve di quello visto sulla serie Galaxy S25, ma non sono state fornite indicazioni sulle tempistiche. Torneremo sicuramente sull’argomento nei prossimi giorni.

La prima One UI 8.5 beta per i tablet con Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra
Sembra proprio che Samsung stia ora spingendo sull’acceleratore con la diffusione del programma beta della One UI 8.5. In queste ore arrivano segnalazioni dalla Corea del Sud che riguardano l’aggiunta alla lista di Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, ossia il primo tablet per quanto riguarda questa tornata di test.
In rollout c’è la versione X936NKOU5ZZC3, che richiede un download di quasi 3,4 GB. Siamo certi che da un momento all’altro possa aggiungersi il “fratello minore”, ossia Galaxy Tab S11.
Nuova beta per la serie Samsung Galaxy S25: si aggiunge Galaxy S25 FE
Mentre i modelli qui sopra stanno accogliendo la prima beta, Samsung sta rilasciando un nuovo firmware di test per Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ e Galaxy S25 Ultra. Come riportato da Tarun Vats, si tratta della Beta 8 della One UI 8.5, in distribuzione iniziando dalla Germania con firmware S938BXXU8ZZCD.
L’aggiornamento richiede quasi 1 GB di download e porta diverse novità, tra funzionalità, miglioramenti delle prestazioni e correzioni di bug, oltre alle patch di sicurezza di marzo 2026. Il changelog cita i seguenti cambiamenti:
- aggiunto un nuovo tipo di storia all’interno della Galleria;
- risolto il problema delle anteprime di visualizzazione rapida della Fotocamera corrotte quando i video presenti solo in cloud risultavano i più recenti;
- risolto un problema per cui i file originali non venivano ripristinati dopo aver modificato la risoluzione di archiviazione in Studio;
- ridotto lo sfarfallio durante l’aggiornamento delle schede di notifica in tempo reale;
- migliorato il badge di notifica a bolla, che ora non scompare dopo aver controllato la notifica a bolla ricevuta;
- risolto un problema per cui il collegamento all’orologio scompariva quando lo schermo veniva spento mentre Now Brief era in esecuzione;
- risolto un problema per cui la data veniva visualizzata in modo errato dopo la modifica di un video con errori nei metadati;
- risolto un problema per cui le immagini risultavano corrotte o non venivano acquisite durante lo scorrimento nella mappa di Naver;
- risolto il problema per cui alcune cartelle non potevano essere copiate quando si era connessi alla memoria condivisa con il Galaxy Book4.
Su Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ e Galaxy S25 Ultra arriva dunque la Beta 8, mentre Galaxy S25 FE si aggiunge con il suo primo firmware di test: per questo modello si apre il programma beta a partire dalla Corea del Sud, ma ci aspettiamo un ampliamento ad altri Paesi nel giro di qualche ora. Per il Fan Edition parliamo di un update molto consistente (intorno ai 4,5 GB), visto che si tratta della prima beta.
Come aggiornare Samsung Galaxy S25, S25 FE, S24, S24 FE e Galaxy Z Fold6
Come ormai probabilmente saprete, il programma di test di Samsung non risulta accessibile in Italia per vie ufficiali. Come già avvenuto lo scorso anno, resta la possibilità di seguire la nostra guida per procedere all’installazione manuale (con i dovuti cambiamenti in base al modello): consigliamo comunque di seguire la procedura solo agli utenti più esperti e motivati.
Se ci seguite da uno dei Paesi coinvolti nei test potete aderire al programma beta tramite l’app Samsung Members. Una volta fatto, potrete procedere con il download e l’aggiornamento utilizzando la normale procedura (“Impostazioni > Aggiornamento software > Cerca aggiornamenti“). Se sul vostro dispositivo avete già installato la precedente release (nel caso degli S25), potete aggiornare alla Beta 8 sfruttando la normale procedura appena citata.
One UI 8.5 beta in arrivo anche su altri modelli
Samsung stessa ha confermato attraverso un comunicato che l’aggiornamento in beta è ora disponibile per la serie Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy S24 FE e la serie Galaxy Tab S11 tra India, Corea del Sud, Regno Unito e Stati Uniti. Il programma di test si allargherà ad altri Galaxy nel mese di aprile.
