Durante la giornata di ieri avevamo letto di alcune indiscrezioni trapelate direttamente da OnePlus, secondo le quali questa settimana ci sarebbe stato l’annuncio del primo smartphone dell’azienda. Passano poche ore ed ecco che tutto diventa realtà: tramite un comunicato stampa ufficiale, OnePlus annuncia la collaborazione con CyanogenMod per la realizzazione di OnePlus One, il primo smartphone dell’azienda ed anche il primo vero smartphone CyanogenMod della storia.
A differenza di Oppo N1, OnePlus One infatti avrà a bordo solamente la ROM CyanogenMod ufficiale sviluppata appositamente con funzioni aggiuntive ed esclusive per il terminale. Ricordiamo che OnePlus è un’azienda nata da un ex ingegnere Oppo, Pete Lau, che insieme a Steve Kondik si dice soddisfatto della partnership stipulata tra le due società.
OnePlus One sarà disponibile sul mercato entro la prima metà del 2014 dapprima in mercati selezionati e poi ne sarà valutato un lancio in altri Paesi a livello globale. Tale smartphone, lo ricordiamo, rappresenterà l’eccellenza degli smartphone Android sotto tutti i punti di vista (design, qualità costruttiva, materiali, software ed hardware), o almeno così dovrebbe essere.
Per ora il comunicato stampa non rivela ulteriori informazioni che ci auguriamo di ricevere quanto prima per potervi informare su tutte le novità. Naturalmente attendiamo con ansia di conoscere il prezzo del dispositivo ed anche un eventuale lancio in Italia, che però già sappiamo non avverrà in tempi brevi.
