I nuovi smartwatch di casa Samsung, Gear Fit e Gear 2, sono finalmente compatibili con una delle applicazioni dedicate al fitness e al benessere fisico più utilizzate: Endomondo.
L’integrazione tra l’app e i due smartwatch consente all’utente di tenere sempre sotto controllo la distanza percorsa, i passi effettuati e le calorie bruciate; oltre a ciò, l’allenamento può essere comodamente stoppato o messo in pausa con un semplice tap e, solo sul Gear 2, è anche possibile sfruttare il sensore per il battito cardiaco.
Per utilizzare Endomondo sul Gear Fit basta semplicemente scaricare l’applicazione dal Play Store sullo smartphone, mentre sul Gear 2 è richiesto un ulteriore passaggio, ovvero l’installazione della companion-app tramite il Gear Manager.

Endomondo Fitness App Now Connects With Samsung Gear Fit and Gear 2
COPENHAGEN, Denmark – August 13, 2014 – Furthering support for wearables, Endomondo today announces integration of its popular Endomondo Sports Tracker app with the Samsung Gear Fit and Samsung Gear 2. Endomondo’s new feature is compatible with 17 of Samsung’s Android smartphones linking to the two devices.
Endomondo paired with the Gear Fit or Gear 2 lets users start, pause or stop a workout without reaching for smartphones. Data such as distance, time exercising, calories burned and more can be displayed, and the built-in HR monitor is supported on Gear 2. Users can also set the smartwatch’s display to be light or dark for easy viewing.
Gear Fit and Gear 2 support is part of the latest Endomondo Sports Tracker app, which can be downloaded free from Google Play. Gear 2 users must also download the Endomondo companion app through the Galaxy Gear Manager.
