Novità aggiornamenti Samsung Galaxy A54, A53, A34, Tab S9, S9+ e S9 Ultra

Iniziamo da Samsung, che sta aggiornando smartphone e tablet. Abbiamo novità per Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, Samsung Galaxy A53 5G e Samsung Galaxy A34 5G tra i primi, e per Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ e Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra tra i secondi: tutti stanno accogliendo “in extremis” le patch di sicurezza di luglio 2025 in Italia e in Europa.

In distribuzione ci sono i firmware A546BXXSEDYG1 (A54), A536BXXSGFYG1 (A53), A346BXXSADYG1 (A34) e X91*XXS5CYG1 (Tab S9), che richiedono un download intorno ai 300 MB (qualcosa in più per i tablet). Come abbiamo visto nel più recente bollettino diffuso dal produttore, le patch di luglio vanno a risolvere 22 vulnerabilità CVE comuni al sistema operativo (più una inclusa da Samsung Semiconductor, CVE-2025-47202), di cui una di livello critico (CVE-2025-21450), più 9 vulnerabilità SVE, più specifiche per i dispositivi della casa di Seoul (quasi tutte di livello moderato, nessuna di livello critico).

Tra queste ultime troviamo la soluzione a problemi riguardanti le autorizzazioni per l’accesso alle password Wi-Fi salvate, la connessione Bluetooth e una gestione errata dei dati sensibili nella funzione di Emergency SOS. Non sembrano essere state integrate ulteriori novità rilevanti, anche se, anche stavolta, il changelog cita generici bugfix e perfezionamenti di stabilità.

Tutti e sei i dispositivi Samsung riceveranno la One UI 8 e Android 16, ma ci vorrà ancora un po’ di attesa.

Novità aggiornamenti OnePlus 12, 12R, 11R e Open

Novità importanti in casa OnePlus, che coinvolgono OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 11R e OnePlus Open. A distanza di un paio di settimane dall’avvio della distribuzione della funzionalità AI denominata Plus Mind su OnePlus 13 e OnePlus 13R, anche altri modelli si aggiungono alla “festa”.

Plus Mind è stata annunciata a fine maggio e ha poi debuttato con OnePlus 13s: si tratta di una funzione di intelligenza artificiale che può salvare, catalogare, reperire informazioni e suggerire azioni utili partendo dal contenuto presente sullo schermo (pagine Web, immagini, messaggi, post social e così via).

OnePlus 12, 12R, 11R e Open stanno accogliendo OxygenOS 15.0.0.840 e 15.0.0.841 (11R), con un changelog solo in parte comune. Troviamo nuovi filtri per le fotocamere, l’aggiunta di nuove funzionalità IA e per la modifica degli scatti, la soluzione ad alcuni bug e problemi noti, l’integrazione delle patch di sicurezza di luglio 2025 e non solo

Novità OnePlus 12 con OxygenOS 15.0.0.840:

Mind Space

  • Adds the “Save to Mind Space” feature. You can now add screen content to Mind Space as memories. Memories will be summarized and archived automatically in the app.

Camera

  • Adds the soft light filter to Camera’s Portrait and Photo mode. It can help create dreamy and more stunning effects.

Photos

  • Adds the AI Perfect Shot feature, which supports recognizing and replacing the facial expressions of the same person in different scenes to create the best shots.
  • Adds editing options for videos and live photos. You can now export videos as live photos, or export videos and live photos as photos in high resolution.
  • Enhances the customization options on the Photos homepage, allowing you to hide the content of specific albums from the overall photo list.
  • Improves the video editing performance. A 120 fps video will remain 120 fps after being edited.

Apps

  • Adds the Gradual alarm volume feature, where the alarm volume will increase progressively from low to high. You can find this feature in “Clock – Alarm- Settings – Gradual alarm volume”.
  • Recorder now supports customizable grouping, making it easier to manage audio files.
  • Adds the In-person recordings group in Recorder. Recordings made in Standard/Meeting/Interview modes are automatically grouped into the In-person recordings category.

System

  • When you drag widgets of the same size together, the widgets will be stacked.
  • Adds support for multi-screen control, allowing you to display one app in full screen and another in a floating window. Both apps can be operated simultaneously.
  • Adds the Temporarily block feature. You can swipe up on a banner notification to temporarily block any further banner notifications from this app when you play games or watch videos. You can find this feature in “Settings – Notifications & Quick Settings – Banners – Temporarily block”.
  • Adds a Restart shortcut to Quick Settings, allowing for quicker phone restarts.
  • The fingerprint icon will now only appear when you tap the screen or lift the phone face up while in Always-On Display.
  • Improves the movement range of mini windows. You can now drag a mini window to the bottom of the screen.
  • Integrates the July 2025 Android security patch to enhance system security.
  • Fixes a display location issue with mini windows in some scenarios.

Come sempre, gli aggiornamenti vengono distribuiti in modo graduale: potrebbe volerci ancora qualche giorno per vederli arrivare a livello globale.

Novità aggiornamenti Nothing Phone (3a) e (3a) Pro

Anche Nothing Phone (3a) e Nothing Phone (3a) Pro stanno ricevendo un nuovo aggiornamento software: si tratta di Nothing OS 3.2-250717-1803, che porta con sé le patch di sicurezza di agosto 2025 e diverse altre novità.

Secondo quanto riportato nel solito e puntuale changelog diffuso dal produttore, l’update porta con sé aggiornamenti del design dell’icona VoNR (Voice over New Radio, ossia il “corrispondente” del VoLTE per il 5G) nella barra di stato, la soluzione a un problema di visualizzazione con il font “Inter”, la soluzione a rari problemi di riproduzione video nella Galleria, la soluzione a rari casi in cui le luci Gliph s accendevano in modo anomalo, la soluzione a problemi con Flip to Glyph, la soluzione a un problema di mancata risposta del sistema al collegamento delle cuffie USB, la soluzione a problemi di rumore elettrico con l’uso di alcuni caricabatterie di terze parti e miglioramenti generali al sistema.

L’aggiornamento per Nothing Phone (3a) e (3a) Pro è già in distribuzione.

Novità aggiornamento CMF Phone 2 Pro

Restiamo in casa Nothing, seppur passando al sub-brand CMF: c’è infatti un aggiornamento anche per CMF Phone 2 Pro. Lo smartphone sta accogliendo la versione 3.2-250715-1813 di NothingOS con diverse novità.

All’interno del changelog vengono citati i seguenti cambiamenti: il produttore ha risolto i ritardi nelle notifiche di alcune applicazioni, alcuni rari errori di visualizzazione durante gli screenshot, gli occasionali errori di lettura NFC, un problema del font “Inter” (legato in particolare all’icona del cuore su Instagram) e ha portato miglioramenti generali nella stabilità del sistema.

In più, troviamo alcune novità relative al comparto fotografico: Nothing ha ottimizzato il problema della tinta viola sui bordi durante alcuni ritratti in controluce, migliorato la precisione dei colori nei ritratti all’interno, risolto problemi di visualizzazione del colore blu scuro in alcuni ritratti all’aperto e migliorato luminosità e contrasto in alcune scene all’aperto.

Come aggiornare Samsung Galaxy A54, A53, A34, Tab S9, OnePlus 12, 12R, 11R, Open, Nothing Phone (3a), (3a) Pro e CMF Phone 2 Pro

Per verificare l’arrivo di nuovi aggiornamenti via OTA su Samsung Galaxy A54, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A34 5G, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+ e Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, potete passare dalle impostazioni di sistema, seguendo il percorso “Impostazioni > Aggiornamento software > Scarica e installa”. Se volete, come alternativa potete collegare lo smartphone o il tablet al PC e utilizzare Smart Switch.

Discorso simile per gli altri smartphone coinvolti: su OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 11R e OnePlus Open potete seguire il percorso “Impostazioni > Sistema > Aggiornamento software“, mentre su Nothing Phone (3a), Nothing Phone (3a) Pro e CMF Phone 2 Pro potete passare da “Impostazioni > Sistema > Aggiornamento di sistema“.
