Aggiornamenti in distribuzione per alcuni smartphone Android a marchio Samsung, HONOR e OnePlus: in particolare, sono in arrivo novità per Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, Samsung Galaxy A34 5G, HONOR Magic8, HONOR Magic8 Pro, OnePlus Nord CE4 e OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite. Novità aggiornamenti Samsung Galaxy A55 e A34 5G
Iniziamo da Samsung, che sta distribuendo nuovi aggiornamenti per due smartphone di fascia media: Samsung Galaxy A55 5G e Galaxy A34 5G sono tra i primi modelli ad accogliere le più recenti patch di sicurezza, annunciate nei giorni scorsi. Galaxy A55 sta ricevendo il firmware A556SKSS6CYL2, mentre per Galaxy A34 è in rollout la versione A346NKSSCEYL2, in entrambi i casi a partire dalla Corea del Sud.
La principale novità dei due aggiornamenti consiste nelle patch di sicurezza di gennaio 2026. Come abbiamo visto nel bollettino pubblicato da Samsung i giorni scorsi, le più recenti patch vanno a correggere più di 50 vulnerabilità: 21 toccano il sistema operativo Android in generale (CVE), di cui due di livello critico (sarebbero 23, ma le CVE-2025-47346 e CVE-2025-47395 non riguardano i prodotti Samsung); abbiamo poi 4 ulteriori CVE riguardanti Samsung Semiconductor (CVE-2025-27807, CVE-2025-49495, CVE-2025-52519, CVE-2025-53966), e infine 30 correzioni che riguardano più da vicino i dispositivi Samsung (SVE). Non tutte risultano divulgabili per motivi di sicurezza.
Non sembrano essere state incluse ulteriori novità all’interno degli aggiornamenti, se non qualche eventuale bugfix o perfezionamento di stabilità. Entrambi gli smartphone hanno già ricevuto la One UI 8.0 basata su Android 16, e nei prossimi mesi accoglieranno l’update alla One UI 8.5 (attualmente giunto alla terza beta sui Galaxy S25).

Novità aggiornamenti serie HONOR Magic8
HONOR ha iniziato a distribuire partendo dalla Cina un nuovo aggiornamento per HONOR Magic8 e HONOR Magic8 Pro. Si tratta di MagicOS 10.0.0.122, una release che porta diverse ottimizzazioni e un mix di nuove funzioni basate sull’intelligenza artificiale.
Tra le novità per la serie HONOR Magic8 spicca in particolare la funzione di cambio pagina con eye tracking. Come il nome suggerisce, parliamo di una funzionalità in grado di semplificare la lettura a mani libere: una volta abilitata, lo smartphone può automaticamente voltare pagina rilevando il movimento degli occhi dell’utente, riducendo quindi la necessità di toccare lo schermo. Risulta accessibile dalla impostazioni, nella sezione dedicata a HONOR AI.
La nuova release porta inoltre miglioramenti nella registrazione dello schermo: il produttore ha aggiunto una modalità di registrazione che esclude notifiche, banner, barre di stato e icone animate. Troviamo poi il supporto alla registrazione simultanea di chiamate e schermo (l’audio e i contenuti delle chiamate sono esclusi dalle registrazioni), un’interfaccia riprogettata per l’app dedicata ai suggerimenti (che aiuta gli utenti a comprendere le funzionalità a bordo), e animazioni di rimbalzo del movimento durante l’espansione o la compressione delle schede WLAN, Bluetooth e multimediali del Communication Control Center. Infine, il changelog cita una durata della batteria ottimizzata per determinati scenari e prestazioni di scorrimento migliorate.
L’aggiornamento a MagicOS 10.0.0.122 per la serie HONOR Magic8 è in distribuzione a partire dalla Cina e richiede un download vicino agli 800 MB. Ci vorrà probabilmente qualche giorno prima di vederlo a livello globale, con tutti o con una parte dei cambiamenti descritti qui sopra.
Novità aggiornamenti Android 16 per OnePlus Nord CE4 e CE4 Lite
Aggiornamenti in distribuzione per OnePlus Nord CE4 e OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite. I due smartphone Android stanno accogliendo l’atteso update ad Android 16 attraverso OxygenOS 16.0.2.400 e OxygenOS 16.0.1.301 (rispettivamente): più precisamente parliamo delle versioni CPH2613_16.0.2.400(EX01) e CPH2619_16.0.1.301(EX01), in rollout a partire dall’India (come spesso accade).
Le novità sono ovviamente moltissime, e includono miglioramenti nella fluidità del sistema, nelle animazioni, passi avanti nelle possibilità di personalizzazione, varie ottimizzazioni generali, una rinnovata modalità di risparmio energetico, miglioramenti per le funzionalità di intelligenza artificiale legate all’app Foto, vari rinnovamenti per le app preinstallate e per la schermata home e nuove patch di sicurezza.
