Non ne avevamo ancora parlato, ma per un motivo, volevamo vedere come andavano i fatti prima di raccontarvi qualcosa. Sicuramente avrete letto in giro per internet che la famosissima e importantissima azienda caratterizzata dal simbolo della Mela ha deciso di fare causa ad HTC per la violazione di circa 20 brevetti software e hardware.
La cosa sembra preoccupante ma inizia ad andare sul ridicolo quando si prendono in esame brevetto per brevetto, e, certo di avervi incuriosito eccoli tutti qui (a seguire la vicenda):

Tornando comunque seri HTC ha ovviamente risposto pubblicamente che tutta la Sense e i dispositivi è e sono stati progettati nei laboratori HTC senza violare o anche solo prendere spunti da brevetti altrui. Per combattere e riuscire a vincere la causa però HTC sta cercando di muoversi e dal 10 Febbraio scorso cerca infatti un esperto in brevetti in modo da aiutarli nel contenzioso.
La domanda ovvia che viene da porsi è, se la maggior parte dei brevetti riguarda Android, perchè Apple non ha portato in causa Google? Trovare la risposta non è molto facile però ragionandoci per Apple sarebbe più facile tirare un colpo basso ad Android colpendo direttamente un’azienda “medio-piccola” in crescita rispetto che ad una delle sue dimensioni se non di più.
D’altro canto però arriva Google che sembra essere disposta a difendere HTC in giudizio pubblicando una frase: “Non siamo parte di questo processo. Tuttavia, sosteniamo il nostro sistema operativo Android e i partner che ci hanno aiutato a svilupparlo”.
Cara HTC complimenti per essere entrata nelle grazie di Google, e buona fortuna per la causa!
